The four-masted bark sailed 1936 from Port Lincoln in Australia to Falmouth in England in a record time of 86 days. After trying to salvage her she was ship-wrecked at Starehole Bay, Devon.

Albatross was a training ship owned by Broström shipping Co. built in 1942 in Gothenburg.
